A common typology

The typology for these two detached villas is a common one within the expanding suburb of Ubhor, outside Jeddah. A 3.5m fence around each of the sites ensures privacy at low level and allows for a fully glazed ground floor with the reception, dining, and kitchen engaging with the outdoor spaces all round.

 

A common typology

A central pod that includes the powder rooms, stairs, and services is clad in the same slate that is used for the boundary wall and pool. The upper two floors have walls that act as blinkers controlling privacy from houses either side and views out to the street and back yard.
