Sophisticated sports facilities

Since its birth in 1956, karting has been offering speed lovers of all ages the chance to race at high standards and on sophisticated tracks; and has been key in launching the careers of many world-class drivers not least in F1. Karting has been steadily increasing in popularity in Lebanon as a sport full of adrenaline, speed, and fun attracting amateurs, professionals, technicians, and spectators alike. RPM, located on a dramatic 55,000 sqm site in Mtein, will be the premium location for karting, not only in Lebanon, but also in the region.

 

A vehicle within the landscape

With its multitude of interconnecting platforms that connect all the differed activities together, the single structure within this landscape is a vehicle designed to enjoy and explore the different components of this family entertainment center. The karting track continues into the structure, making it both a start and end point for the drives’ trajectory.

 

The Grand Stand

With its exposed concrete frame, polycarbonate and glass cladding, the structure, evolves into an extended grand stand with an immediate and charged connection to the track – a hub that seamlessly links all the activities together: from the professional and technical areas along the track, to the briefing room, restaurant and playground, to the roof terrace barbecue and bar.
